The Newstead Conversion

In March 2019, a family from Sheffield attended one of our open days and was immediately captivated by the quality and craftsmanship of our work. After exploring other campervan converters and comparing their offerings, they returned to us, confident that we were the right choice to bring their dream campervan to life.

The Newstead Conversion was performed on a stunning long-wheelbase (LWB) VW T6 Transporter DSG Highline panel van. We transformed this van into a luxurious and functional campervan, perfect for all their adventures. Our team installed a range of features, including windows for enhanced natural light, an Easy Fit elevating roof for added headroom, and the innovative Reimo 3000 seating system, which offers both comfort and versatility. These features, along with others, were carefully selected and expertly installed to ensure the highest quality conversion.

To ensure the campervan was ready for year-round use, we fitted a Webasto diesel heater, which is ideal for keeping the interior warm during colder months. Additionally, we added an underslung gas tank with a convenient BBQ point, perfect for outdoor cooking. Installing a Reimo rail provides further flexibility for attaching awnings or additional accessories.

The Newstead custom units were designed and installed with ample storage space, ensuring everything has its place for those long journeys. Every aspect of this campervan was crafted with passion and meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a conversion that we are incredibly proud of.

Most importantly, it’s a conversion that the family loves and that has significantly enhanced their travel experiences.
